OFFICIALLY: Mark Dawson is President of RWA Marketing, where he leads strategy-first marketing programs designed to help organizations clarify their positioning, align marketing activity and pursue measurable growth. His career at the agency includes previous roles as Agency Director, Marketing Advertising Specialist and Account Manager, giving him hands-on experience across agency operations, client service, campaign management and business development.

Mark works with businesses in diverse sectors, developing tailored marketing strategies, managing key accounts, coordinating media buying and vendors, and building lasting client relationships. He is known for combining creative concepting with practical accountability, financial awareness and a focus on growth.

Before returning to agency leadership, he served as an Account Manager at the Eword in Manchester, England, and spent four years as an Assistant Soccer Coach at Keiser University. He holds an MBA from Keiser University and a bachelor’s degree in advertising & marketing from Northwood University. His skills include strategic planning, agency management, marketing analysis and leadership.

UNOFFICIALLY: Mark hails from Newcastle, England—home of Newcastle Brown Ale, a beer he has somehow managed not to romanticize despite once being a dedicated professional-level beer enthusiast. According to Mark, Newcastle Ale is “a little like feeding a kid chocolate for dinner: the first time is brilliant, but the novelty wears off quickly and someone eventually regrets it. ”These days, the festivities of his youth have been largely sidelined by his two young sons, who require constant supervision and the occasional duct-taping. “I can’t imagine being hungover and trying to keep up with them,” he says.

When he is not leading marketing efforts, Mark enjoys traveling with his lovely wife and boys—sometimes to exotic locations as far-flung as Disney World in Orlando. He also coaches youth soccer—as if his own two young boys are not enough.
